Strategy

How to Crack IBPS PO 2026 in 90 Days

IBPS PO Prelims rewards speed, accuracy and sectional balance — you must clear each of the three sectional cutoffs, not just the overall cutoff. Here's the working 90-day plan:

Days 1–30 · Concept Building

Cover the syllabus systematically: Quantitative Aptitude (Number Series, Simplification, Approximation, DI, Arithmetic — Percentage/Ratio/P&L/TSD/Time-Work), Reasoning (Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Inequality, Coding, Blood Relations, Direction), English (Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Spotting, Para-Jumbles, Sentence Improvement, Vocabulary).

Days 31–60 · Sectional Tests + PYQs

Move from concepts to topic-wise tests. Solve 5+ years of IBPS & SBI PO PYQs. Focus on timing — solve QA in ≤ 22 min, English in ≤ 15 min, Reasoning in ≤ 18 min while attempting mocks. Target: 90+ attempts in Prelims with 85% accuracy.

Days 61–90 · Full-Length Mocks Under Real Conditions

Take 3–4 full-length Prelims mocks per week in sectionally-timed mode. Analyse each mock for 60–90 minutes: which questions were sitters, which were traps, which section pulled you down. Simultaneously start Mains prep — DI + Banking Awareness are the biggest score levers.
