Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    Candidates must have a full-time BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in the respective disciplines with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks or CGPA 6.84/10 from a recognized university. Candidates completing the final year in the academic year 2024-25 can also apply provided their results are declared by 31.08.2025.
  • Age Limit:
    Maximum age is 28 years as on 16.06.2025. Relaxations apply for government employees, ex-servicemen, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.
  • Nationality:
    Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  • PwBD Categories:
    ISRO reserves vacancies for PwBD candidates under various disability categories such as Blindness, Hearing impairment, Locomotor disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Multiple disabilities.

Application Process
  • Online Application Window:
    Starts from 27.05.2025 and closes on 16.06.2025.
  • Application Fee:
    • Non-refundable fee of ₹250 per post applied.
    • A uniform processing fee of ₹750 per application must be paid initially (refundable based on written test attendance).
    • Payment modes include internet banking, UPI, debit/credit cards via Bharatkosh portal only.
    • Last date for payment of fee is 18.06.2025.
  • Candidates can apply for multiple posts but must choose the same test center for all.

Selection Process 1. Written Test
  • Duration: 120 minutes
  • Pattern: Two parts
    • Part A: 80 objective questions (technical knowledge) with negative marking (-1/3 for wrong answers)
    • Part B: 15 objective questions on aptitude/ability (no negative marking)
  • Test Centers: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
2. Interview
  • Candidates shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 based on written test performance (minimum 10 candidates).
  • Interview will assess technical knowledge, general awareness, communication skills, comprehension, and academic achievements.
  • Total marks: 100 (Written Test and Interview carry equal weightage for final selection).

  • Salary: Minimum basic pay of ₹56,100 per month plus allowances as per government norms.
  • Appointment: Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix.
  • Posting: Candidates may be posted at any ISRO center or unit in India.
  • Documents: Original certificates must be produced at the time of interview.
  • Reservation: ISRO follows Government of India reservation policies, including for PwBD candidates.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required for candidates employed in government/public sector.
